Two explosions occur at military airbases in Russia

According to the Russian online news channel Telegram Baza, an unknown unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell on the runaway airfield of the Russian air base Engels-1 in Saratov Oblast, which Russia uses to launch massive missile strikes on Ukraine and its energy infrastructure in particular. .

As a result, two Tu-95 strategic bombers were damaged and two Russian soldiers were hospitalized, Russian channel Astra Telegram reported.
Interior Ministry adviser Anton Gerashchenko posted a video on Telegram that allegedly shows the attack.
Meanwhile, Russian propaganda newspaper RIA reported that a tanker exploded near Ryazan, 200 km (125 miles) from Moscow.

As a result, three people were reportedly killed and six others injured.
An aircraft was also reportedly damaged in the incident, but no further details were provided.
Engels Air Base is located 750 km (465 miles) from the border with Ukraine.

On December 1, German media Der Spiegel reported that Russia’s Engels-2 air base, also in Saratov Oblast, had been put on high alert.
