Two cruise passengers drowned yesterday at the new port of Carnival Cruise Line in Bahamas, Celebration Key.

Yesterday, two carnival cruise ships were celebrating, Elation and Tuesday fat. A passenger of each ship died when visiting the port.
The first was a 79 -year -old American who drowned when he was apnea at the Key Celebration.
The police said that the incident occurred around 1 p.m. yesterday and that the case remains under active investigation. At the time of the press, no other information was available on his death.

In addition, a 70 -year -old woman also drowned in the new port yesterday. It is reported that a 74 -year -old American woman drowned in a swimming pool (lagoon as the carnival calls them) at the port.
Carnival Cruise Line sent the following declaration to the cruise fever on tragedies:
“Our team of rescuers and medical responded to two distinct water incidents at Celebration Key on Friday – one in the lagoon and one at the beach. Unfortunately, the two guests died.
“A guest was sailing with his family on Tuesday fat and a guest sailing with the family on Carnival Elation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the guests and their families and our care team provides assistance.“”
Celebration Key opened its doors last month as a private port for carnival cruise ships to visit. The port is located on the island of Grand Bahama and is about 40 minutes by car from Freeport.
