Tweet from actor Chiranjeevi for his son Ram Charan on the winning prize

Actor Ram Charan was recognized for his hard work and contribution to the entertainment industry at the NDTV True Legend Awards last night.

Shortly after Ram Charan’s big win on NDTV’s True Legend, his father and veteran actor Chiranjeevi Konidela congratulated him on Twitter.

“Nanna, absolutely thrilled for you and proud to have won the True Legend – #FutureOfYoungIndia Award #NDTV Well done! Well done dear, Ram Charan – Appa and Amma,” Chiranjeevi Konidela tweeted.

During the event, Ram Charan also shared a humorous story of his father’s presence during the narration of the 2009 film Magadheera.

Chiranjeevi Konidela was so excited and engrossed that director SS Rajamouli felt it necessary to clarify that the film was for Ram Charan.

Mr. Rajamouli said, “Sir, not you, your son. This anecdote made the public laugh.

Ram Charan starred in the hit blockbuster RRR, alongside Jr NTR. The film was released worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously. It has been submitted for consideration in various categories for the Oscars next year.
