“Ironheart” by Marvel puts a new hero under the spotlight.

Three years after she was presented for the first time in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) is back like the next television series.

In the 2022 film, the teenage technology genius has built its own version of Iron Man costume and fought against Namor (Tenoch Huerta) and the Atlanning Army alongside Shuri (Letitia Wright).

While the Wakandans did not let Riri keep the armor at the end of the film, They didn’t say anything about her not doing another costume – and that’s exactly what she does in “Ironheart”.

In the series, which is produced by the director “Sinners” Ryan Coogler, she will also face the gap between magic and technology thanks to the introduction of a character named The Hood.

“Ironheart” is presented on June 24

The first trailer “Ironheart” shows Riri living in Chicago after the events of “Wakanda Forever” and building his own armor costume. She meets the trails with Parker Robbins (Anthony Ramos), who has a magic hood which gives her dark and mystical powers.

In the images, which was published on May 14, Robbins promises Riri that he can finance his “vision” if they work together. He stresses that she is neglected in college despite her genius.

The trailer confirms that the mini-series of six episodes will begin to be broadcast on Disney + on June 24 in the United States.

Dominique Thorne leads the “Ironheart” cast alongside Anthony Ramos

This is Riri’s second appearance in the MCU, and the character has appeared in The Marvel Comics since 2016.

The hood was presented to comic book readers in 2002 as a small criminal who won magical powers after stealing a hooded cape and a pair of a demon boots. The outfit allows him to become invisible by holding his breath, and he can also levitate.

Alden Ehrenreich, better known for having played a young Han Solo in “Solo: A Star Wars Story”, plays an original character named Joe McGillicuddy, who has a secret bunker, as we see in the trailer.

The actor Sacha Baron Cohen is also listed in the distribution, but his role is unknown.

To complete the casting, Lyric Ross as Natalie Washington, Riri’s friend, Anji White as the mother of Riri and Manny Montana as cousin John.
