Israel made strikes against the Hezbollah targets in the village of Ja jaga in eastern Lebanon, the FDI confirmed early Friday morning.
Israel Air Force has made strikes on the village, which is located near the Lebanon-Syria border, hitting terrorist infrastructure sites used to pass weapons through the Syrian-Lebanese border in Lebanon, said the army.
The Air Force struck additional terrorist targets in the Bekaa valley, which included a site with underground infrastructure used for the development and manufacturing of weapons.
According to Reuters, citing the Lebanese Ministry of Health, two people were killed in the strike.
Hezbollah’s surveillance drone approached the Israeli territory of Lebanon on Thursday, but was intercepted by the Air Force, which violated the cease-fire agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
Earlier this week, Hezbollah threatened to break the ceasefire agreement. The army reiterated that no terrorist activity would be accepted in this form or in this area.
Israeli troops remain in southern Lebanon to continue to protect Israeli interests, the army announced on Friday morning.
