Trump’s “They’re after me” campaign and its catalysts

An email sent by Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law, promised she had an announcement to make.

“I will be in Hannity in 1 hour to address the nation on behalf of my father-in-law,” it read, “but first I want to speak to you personally. President Trump’s enemies are spewing vile lies about him, but he doesn’t even have the right to defend himself! This is why I need you to DEFEND TRUMP.
