- Trump pronounces an address to a joint session of the congress this evening.
- It is likely to resolve prices, Doges, Taxes and more.
- It is not officially a discourse on the state of the Union, but it is very similar.
President Donald Trump is expected to contact congress for the first time in more than five years Tuesday evening at 9 p.m.
Trump will have a lot to speak, including 25% prices on Mexican and Canadian products that started on Tuesday. Elon Musk, the de facto chief of the White House office, will also be there. The same goes for former federal workers that Musk has helped to draw, invited as guests by Democratic legislators.
It is a discourse on the state of the Union in everything except – technically, during the first year of the president, it is only a joint address in the congress.
The last time Trump was in the House of Chamber was during the last year of his first time, when he delivered his last speech on the state of the Union on the eve of the Senate acquitted him during his first indictment.
Then came the Pandemic COVID-19, the insurrection of January 6, the Biden administration and the unlikely political return of Trump.
Trump’s speech could last up to two hours, according to the White House press guidelines. It is likely to deal with trade, the state of the economy, artificial intelligence, war in Ukraine and Doge.
As is often the case with Trump, it is possible that the president is out of script.
This story will be updated with new details of Trump’s address when it starts.
