President Donald Trump will announce a joint venture with OpenAI on Tuesday, Oracle And Flexible banking investing billions of dollars in AI infrastructure in the United States, report CNBC’s Eamon Javers and NBC News’ Peter Alexander.
The project, called Stargate, will be unveiled at the White House by Trump, Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son, and executives from Oracle and OpenAI, according to sources familiar with the project.
The companies are expected to commit up to $100 billion initially and up to $500 billion to the project over the next four years, according to CBS News, which was first to report details of the project. expected announcement.
Stargate’s first joint venture will be a data center in Texas, CBS reported.
The son of Softbank had already announced a $100 billion investment over four years in AI in the United States in December, during his visit to Mar-a-Lago by then-President-elect Trump.
