In the first speech at the start of his second term, President Donald Trump spoke of professional advice, his first 100 days in power and several of his standard elements of the agenda, including the results of the 2020 elections.
“You are the first class graduated from the golden age of America. We are at the golden age,” Trump told new graduates from the University of Alabama on Thursday.
Trump started almost an hour Address by speaking of the achievements of his administration during his first 100 days, which he described as “an exciting period for our nation”, “ Before providing some advice to university graduates.
“While you embark on this great adventure, let me share some of the biggest lessons I have learned from a life spent building dreams and beat the chances. I have been very likely,” said Trump.
He told graduates that they could have “great success at a very young age”.
Trump talked about his work experience on his first major real estate project, The Grand Hyatt, at 28 years old. He cited examples such as Steve Jobs and Walt Disney, who launched Apple and the Walt Disney Company, at 21 respectively.
“So, for everyone here today, don’t waste your youth. Take out and fight, from the start,” said Trump.
“Find your limits and crush everything,” he added.
Trump told graduates to “think big”.
“You have to do something you like. You will all have the same headache and challenges, all the same delays and backhand, so you could as well do something that is simply incredible. America is not targeting. The Alabama is not targeting, and you either,” said Trump.
Prices and results of the 2020 elections
During his speech, Trump also talked about some of his usual program subjects, including prices and results from the 2020 presidential elections.
Trump said the refined prices he has imposed on the world would soon support results for the United States.
“You will see the results very soon, earlier than most people don’t think so, because this is what other countries have done to us. Just for you to understand, they are dripping hell,” said Trump.
He also used his time on stage to repeat his assertion that he is the real winner of the 2020 presidential election. There is no evidence of generalized electoral fraud in the 2020 elections.
Towards the end of his speech, Trump talked about his relationship with technology leaders such as Tesla and the CEO of SpaceX, Elon Musk.
“Look at some of these internet people. I know that many of them. Elon is so great but I now all know. You know, they all hated me in my first mandate and now they kiss me,” said Trump.
Business leaders such as Musk broke with Trump when the president withdrew the United States from the Paris climate agreement during his first term.
Musk was one of Trump’s biggest supporters in the 2024 elections, spending at least 277 million dollars to support Trump and other GOP candidates who arise in the elections. Apple CEO, Tim Cook and Openai CEO Sam Altman, have personally donated $ 1 million each in the second inaugural fund of Trump.
During his first mandate, Trump delivered several speeches at the start, notably at the Liberty University and West Point.
