Trump torn in Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post op-ed

The New York Post, the former pro-Donald Trump tabloid owned by conservative billionaire media mogul Rupert Murdoch, on Friday urged the former president’s supporters to look elsewhere.
The newspaper, which appears to have grown increasingly embittered against Trump since the GOP’s poor 2022 midterm results, called his threat “death and destruction” if he is indicted following a investigates a silent payment to porn actor Stormy Daniels.
“He hasn’t changed at all. There’s no shame,” wrote the Post’s editorial board, which said it didn’t disagree with claims it was a “biased lawsuit,” but said it did. criticized Trump for seeking to inspire a crowd.
“Time and time again, Trump’s responses have been lopsided, vindictive and self-defeating,” he continued. “Trump is not trying to make America a better place” but is just seeking revenge.
“You want a leader who will fight for you? asked the council in conclusion. “Then you have to choose someone who can actually be elected. Republicans can’t miss their shot in 2024.”
