Trump says to call Sylvester Stallone, Jon Voight, Mel Gibson ‘Mr. Ambassador’

Donald Trump says people should now call Mel Gibson, Sylvester Stallone and Jon Voight “Mr. Ambassador.”

The new president announced the honorary designation on stage at the “Make America Great Again Victory Rally” in Washington, DC, on Sunday, a day before Trump’s inauguration as the 47th president of the United States.

“Also with us tonight is a great actor, an extremely talented guy, Jon Voight, who is awesome, and a friend of mine,” he said near the end of his hour-long speech. “And Sylvester Stallone is there – great guy. And you know, I asked Mel Gibson, Sylvester Stallone and Jon Voight to be ambassadors in Hollywood, California, to get things back on track. So they’re all ambassadors You should call them ambassadors, “Mr. Ambassador”.

After the announcement, Gibson, who recently lost his Malibu home in the Palisades fire, said Weekly Entertainment that he didn’t know Trump would give him the new role.

Stallone called Trump “the second George Washington” in November, and Voight offered another presidential comparison in 2019, calling Trump “the greatest.” President since Abraham Lincoln.”

During the rally, Voight concluded his speech with a prayer for the president-elect.
