“However, we plan to send someone to the appropriate level to at least hear what these people have to say and if they are able to decide at least anything. If they are ready to have a serious conversion, we can commit ourselves. Otherwise, we will have the right to conclude that it is a Russian Charade, not a significant work for peace,” added the official.
After a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara, Zelenskyy said that he was sending a delegation, led by Ukrainian Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, to speak to the Russians and the Americans of Istanbul. He said he had accepted this out of respect for Erdoğan and Trump.
The leader of Ukraine will not assist, however, after Putin snubbed Reunion. On Friday, Zelenskyy goes to the top of the European political community in Tirana with Erdoğan.
“Our team will be ready to discuss the ceasefire tomorrow,” said Zelenskyy, adding: “We will not recognize all the territories occupied as Russians.”
“We want (a) a pressure of pressure on Russia, on Putin. Sanctions from Europe and the United States at least. ” Zelenskyy added.
If negotiations take place, it will be the first official discussions of Ukraine-Russia from a meeting of Istanbul in March 2022, which was exploded by the discovery of a massacre committed by the Russian forces in the city of Bucha near Kyiv.
