Trump says he will be arrested in the middle of Manhattan on Tuesday DA Probe
Former President Donald Trump said on Saturday he expected to be arrested on Tuesday based on “unlawful leaks” from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, which is investigating Trump’s alleged role in the money paid to Stormy Daniels.
Trump, who is running for president again in 2024, made the prediction on his social media platform Truth Social, writing that “THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE BY FAR AND FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY NEXT WEEK PROTEST, TAKE BACK OUR NATION!

While it’s unclear what the criminal charges against Trump would be, reports of Democratic Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case linked to porn star Daniels and the former president have reported in recent years. weeks that a charging decision could be close.
The case appeared to progress this week when Daniels’ attorney writing on social media that she agreed to serve as a witness in the case at the request of the district attorney.

The investigation involves Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, who said he was pressured to make a silent payment of $130,000 on the former president’s behalf to Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
If Trump’s prediction comes to fruition, it would be the first time in history that a former president has been indicted.
Following Trump’s post on Truth Social, a Trump spokesperson issued a statement stating that Trump had received “no notification” in addition to “unlawful leaks from the Department of Justice and the Attorney’s Office” to the media regarding the arrest.
“There has been no notification, other than illegal leaks from the Justice Department and the district attorney’s office, to NBC and other bogus media, that the George Soros-funded radical left-wing Democratic prosecutor in Manhattan has decided to take his witch hunt to the next level,” the spokesperson said. “President Trump rightly points out his innocence and the weaponization of our system of injustice. He will be in Texas next weekend for a giant rally. Make America Great Again!”
