Trump News at a glance: Rubio now has four titles after Waltz as chief of national security | Trump administration

Secretary of State Marco Rubio – ridiculed as “Little Marco” by Donald Trump during the 2016 Republican primaries – has become one of the most powerful actors in the president’s office.

Trump appointed interim national security advisor Rubio on Thursday after Mike Waltz was forced to leave the post, alongside his assistant, Alex Wong, as the sources said that officials had lost confidence in their direction.

Waltz has undergone intense pressure from the signal scandal, in which he inadvertently added a journalist to a cat that included real -time operational details on American strikes in Yemen.

This is a huge increase for Rubio, the son of undocumented Cuban migrants, who now holds four titles in the Trump administration. Rubio is also the interim administrator of the USAID and the interim archivist of the National Archives and Records Administration.

It only applies to migrants detained in the judicial district of Rodriguez, in the South Texas District, which includes Brownsville, Mcallen and Houston. Trump appointed Rodriguez to the federal bench in 2018.
