The questions come back to national American questions – Trump is asked about Elon Musk’s criticism of the president’s “Big and Beautiful Bill”.
The president says he always liked Musk and was surprised to see the criticism.
Trump says that the bill is incredible and a “huge tax reduction”, and he prefers that Musk criticizes that the bill – it is in his opinion that Musk is upset because the administration has withdrawn the mandate of the electric vehicle (EV).
Musk has known him from the start, says Trump, but he knows it “bothers him”.
Trump also reveals that Musk recommended someone that he knows how to manage NASA, but Trump said he didn’t think it was appropriate.
“I can understand why he is upset,” said Trump.
“Elon and I had an excellent relationship, I don’t know if we want it,” said Trump, adding that Musk is not the first to leave his administration and “some become hostile”, calling him “Trump’s disturbance syndrome”.
Musk had a wonderful shipment, said Trump, pointing the Musk’s hat who said “Trump was right on everything”.
“And I am right on the major bill,” Trump told the Oval Office.
