A judge on Wednesday rejected a final attempt by former President Donald Trump to delay his secret trial that was scheduled to begin later this month in New York.

Trump had asked Judge Juan Merchan to postpone the trial until the U.S. Supreme Court rules on whether he has presidential immunity in another criminal case, linked to his efforts to overturn the victory of President Joe Biden in the 2020 election.
