The comments are striking given the long support for the Farage towards the American President. He attended the inauguration of Trump, appeared during rallies of Trump – and even received a 60th anniversary message from Faiwning from the American High Republican.
But Farage faces his own internal pressure on Ukraine, the Labor Party governing trying to paint a leader who previously argued that NATO and the European Union caused Putin in his invasion as sweet on Russia.
Since its entry into office in January, the administration of Trump has excluded membership in NATO to Ukraine, has minimized the prospect of a peacekeeping force supported by the Americans on the ground and has suggested that Ukraine will not resume the territory taken by Russia.
“We want a peace agreement,” said Farage. “Surely, everyone wants a peace agreement, but it must be fair. For the moment, it seems that Russia becomes far too much.”
Explicitly pushed if Trump gave Putin too much ground, the reform leader of the United Kingdom concluded: “For the moment, that’s what he looks like. Now there may be things behind the scenes on the Russian side that we do not know, but for the moment, it is concern. ”
