Trump Debuts Late-Night Speech on Top for the Strangest Reason Possible

It’s not often that candidates attack those who support them, but it happened Wednesday night when Donald Trump launched a speech targeting Bill Barr.

Trump noted that he said a lot of mean things about his former attorney general. However, after the approval, the former president withdrew exactly one of those insults.

“I called him ‘weak, slow, lethargic, gutless and lazy,'” Trump wrote in a late-night speech on his Truth Social website. “As I greatly appreciate his full support, I am removing the word ‘Lethargic’ from my statement.”

Once a close ally of Trump, Barr has since drawn the former president’s ire for criticizing him during his frequent media appearances in recent years.

Barr dismissed Trump’s election fraud claims as “bullshit,” called Trump’s conduct after the election “reprehensible” and called Trump “a very petty individual who will always put his interests ahead of those of the country “.

Barr called Trump a “horror show” who will “bring chaos,” insisted he “lacks all self-control” and said Trump had “detached himself from reality” after lost in 2020.

Yet last week, Barr called the election “two bad choices” and said he would vote for Trump.

“Trump may be playing Russian roulette, but the continuation of the Biden administration is in my opinion national suicide,” he said on Fox News.
