Trump and his Georgia election co-defendants will be arraigned on September 6
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee said Monday that former President Donald Trump will be arraigned on the charges in the Georgia election case at 9:30 a.m. on September 6.
His co-defendants will also be brought to trial that day.
Trump has been charged with criminal racketeering and numerous conspiracy charges as part of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ extensive investigation into efforts by him and his allies to void the 2020 election.
Trump and 18 co-defendants, also charged with racketeering, were jailed in Fulton County Jail last week as part of efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in the battleground state. The investigation was launched by Willis.
