Truck crashes and crushes tortillas on Tennessee highway

MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) – Tortilla chips covered a highway in Maury County this weekend after a semi-truck carrying them overturned.

The Maury County Fire Department responded to the crash Saturday. The truck driver was injured in the accident, but is expected to be fine.

Photos show several crushed bags of crisps lying on the road after the accident. Some chips remained in their packaging.

Both lanes of the roadway were blocked off before the damage was cleaned up.
