Trista Sutter Shares Update on Husband Ryan’s Battle With Lyme Disease

The old Bachelor the star gave an update on how Ryan Sutter is battling Lyme disease, sharing that he’s “better” since sharing his diagnosis three years ago.

“He definitely still has a lot of ups and downs and he would definitely like to feel better at least most of the time,” Trista explained on an April 7 episode of the show. The most dramatic podcast ever with Chris Harrison. “He says it’s about 80 percent.”

And the reality TV star, who shares children Maxwell16 years old, and Blakesley14, with Ryan – had nothing but praise for how he handles breakdowns, explaining that he takes the pain calmly even when it’s a “really important” complaint that he should probably share with his medical team.

“I used to go with him to his doctor’s appointments because he’s incredibly humble,” Trista remembers. “I was telling his doctors, ‘You don’t understand, he has an incredibly high pain tolerance.'”
