Trista Sutter is back with his family after a mysterious absence.
The first star of The Bachelorette found Ryan Sutter and the children Maxwell16 years old, and Blakesley15, and broke her silence about her recent trip, two weeks after her husband sparked concern among fans with a series of cryptic messages about his wife’s disappearance.
“Damn it, people. Can’t a girl have a nervous breakdown/breakup trial/midlife crisis/death/divorce in peace around here?!” Trista wrote on Instagram on May 25, alongside a photo of herself, Ryan and their children standing on a beach. “Seriously, for those concerned, I am safe and sound, happy and healthy, in love and grateful. For those who prefer to focus on critical thinking and look too hard for the darkness, good luck with that. “
The 51-year-old went on to explain: “An opportunity for perspective and personal growth presented itself and, with the unconditional support of my family and friends, I chose and improved myself, knowing that my work as a stay-at-home mom and the needs of my children at the end of the school year were in the best and most capable hands.”
