OAKLAND – Two men and a minor face crime charges as part of a flight and shooting last week in the Oakland Montclair district, prosecutors said.
The alleged crime occurred around 9:10 am on April 2 in the 1900 block on avenue Cortereal.
Kelvin Davis, 19, is accused of qualified theft, assault with a firearm causing large bodily injuries, possession of a machine gun, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a stolen car, according to the office of the County of Alameda. Davis has a preliminary strike for the flight which improves his possible sentence.
The victim, a man in his forties, was killed three times, the prosecutors said. It was listed for the last time in critical but stable condition.
Keyjuanne McGhee, 21, is also accused of qualified theft, possession of a machine gun and possession of a stolen car, as well as the armament of a firearm during a flight, according to the office of the district prosecutor.
If he is found guilty, Davis risks more than 40 years in life and McGee risks more than 7 years.
The prosecutors said that a minor had also been arrested as a co-partner in alleged crime and accused of offenses related to theft. The County County Justice Center for Alameda supervises its case.
Davis and McGhee should be brought to justice on Friday at the Wiley Manuel justice palace in Oakland.
