Travis Kelce Talks Meeting Julia Roberts at Taylor Swift’s Fashion Show

Julia Roberts gave Swifties plenty to talk about — but Travis Kelce has nothing but great things to say about her.

“I met Julia Roberts in Ireland, in Dublin,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end told listeners of his “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday. “It was really cool.”

Kelce, 34, noted that the “awesome” actress, 56, was “having fun” with Stevie Nicks in the VIP tent at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show on Sunday.

The athlete’s interaction with Roberts was caught on camera by a fan and has since gone viral.

Social media users blasted the “Notting Hill” star for scratching Kelce’s chest while they spoke, with some calling her “touchy” and him “uncomfortable.”

Others, however, defended Roberts, pointing out that “some people are just touchy like that” and “she’s old enough to be his mother.”

Nikki Glaser called the Oscar winner’s actions “excessive” in an Instagram Story video Monday — and her parents agreed.

“She’s so disgusting,” Julie Glaser said before joking that Roberts was “trying to tongue kiss Kelce.”

Her husband, Edward Glaser, stepped in to insist that the NFL star looked like he wanted to “run away.”

The comedian’s mother later apologized for using the word “disgusting” to describe Roberts’ body language.

While Kelce didn’t address the backlash online, he did gush about Nicks, 76, who he hung out with at the Hacienda Bar later that night.

“She’s exactly what everybody thinks she is,” he said. “She’s so great. … Some of these people you meet are like, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing here. You guys are amazing … and I’m just a jabroni supporting his girlfriend.’ It’s so much fun.”

The three-time Super Bowl winner, who said he was no longer in Ireland, recalled drinking “Guinness beer” and “playing snooker”.

He concluded: “Ireland was fun. It was a good time.”

Kelce traveled there from California after attending a teammate’s wedding, with fans speculating he surprised Swift, also 34, by showing up to her performance.

The footballer, who has been dating the Grammy winner since July 2023, had already attended all three of her London shows – and even performed on stage.

He gushed about the experience Wednesday, admitting it was his idea to be “put to work” during the “Tortured Poets Department” show.

Kelce had a “blast” being “ham” with Swift and said he could “do nothing wrong” with her on stage.
