Nearly a year into Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift, the only rings that come to mind are Super Bowl rings, according to a new report.
The Chiefs tight end and the pop superstar aren’t getting engaged anytime soon, multiple sources told Us Weekly in a report published Tuesday.
“Travis has no plans to propose to Taylor,” a close source said.
“It’s not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would jump into without careful thought,” they continued.
Another source said the athlete “cares very deeply” for the Love Story singer, but “he’s just not there yet” when it comes to popping the question.

Earlier this year, another source denied rumors that the two were planning to get engaged this summer.
“Things between them are going great, but they haven’t even been together a year and still have a lot to learn about each other,” the source told the outlet.
They also noted that “many of their loved ones” would be happy to see Kelce take a knee “and some may even believe” that it will happen – but not “any time soon.”
It comes amid conflicting reports over whether the couple, both 34, will marry.
“The timing is good,” a source told Life & Style earlier this month, noting that the three-time Super Bowl champion was “under pressure to propose” to the 14-time Grammy winner.
“They’ve been together for almost a year now and they’re madly in love, so it makes sense that they’re discussing marriage.”
The insider also hinted that Kelce might be planning a “grand gesture” by taking a knee.
The couple began dating in mid-2023, after the Chiefs player attended his Eras Tour show.
It’s already shaping up to be a busy summer for the duo, with Swift resuming her world tour in Europe
“The big moment — and the ring — has to be super special… no matter what or when he finally asks her, it will be an experience they will remember forever,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Chiefs long snapper James Winchester says he can “definitely” see the couple getting engaged in the future, while Barstool Sports boss Dave Portnoy believes it will happen over the course of of the next year.
The power duo began dating last summer while Swift was on the first leg of her record-breaking Eras tour.
She’s currently traveling Europe performing for sold-out crowds, while Kelce is enjoying the NFL offseason.
