Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce didn’t have one of his best regular seasons. But he finds his form in the playoffs.
Kelce had a season-high 113 receiving yards today against the Texans, and he caught a touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes in the fourth quarter that gave the Chiefs a 20-12 lead.
It was a great pass from Mahomes, who had to escape the pass rush and threw the ball as he fell to the ground after tripping.
The Chiefs’ touchdown benefited from a bad call against the Texans, a late 15-yard hit that shouldn’t have been called because Mahomes slipped late and the Texans barely touched him.
The Texans fought hard and didn’t get out of there, but they will need a touchdown and a two-point conversion just to tie the score.
