Tottenham won 3-1 against Bodo / Glimt in the Europa League semi-finals on Thursday evening and here are our spurs player ratings.
Angel Postcoglou was without his captain his heung-min, who has a foot injury, and the long-term absent Radu Dragusin and had a new absent to Lucas Bergvall who made an ankle injury in training the day before the match. This meant a return to Yves Bissouma’s team with Richarlison to the left of Dominic Solanke.
Brennan Johnson gave an excellent start with a goal with a goal at only 38 seconds. Pedro Porro crossed into the rear station where Richarlison directed her to the international Wales to guide a head after the goalkeeper.
James Maddison succeeded 2-0 in the hosts after half an hour. Porro played a perfect pass on top and the midfielder met him with his race, checked her and sent a scratched shot riding in the lower left corner.
The third goal occurred for an hour in the match when Cristian Romero was kicked in the Bodo box and the referee was called on his instructor on the pitch side and gave the hosts a penalty that Dominic Solanke drove at the back of the net.
The Spurs created chances in Gogo, but managed to concede a goal from the first real Bodo shot to the goal when Ulrik Salnes entered the box and struck a shot that diverted Rodrigo Bentancur and in the net.
Here are our notes of Tottenham players of the match:
Guglielmo Vicario
Had nothing to do until he chose the shot of his net after the deviation withdrew the ball. 6
Pedro Porro
Put a great crossroads leading to the first goal and his ball above Maddison was perfect for Tottenham’s second goal. Made a big challenge in the 70 -minute Spurs box to prevent what would probably have been a goal. Created more likely in the second half, including one for Kulusvski. Tottenham’s best player at night. 9
Cristian Romero
Chose Maddison with a great ball in the box six minutes later. I sent a head right next to the target in the second half and stood a little salnes for its objective, Bentancur annoying a little. 7
Micky Van de Ven
Choose Solanke with a good ball in the first half. Well defended for much of the night. 8
Destiny udogie
An energetic performance in the first half and sent a shot on the bar after linked Solanke. I should have done better in the second half after a good race in the box. 8
Rodrigo Bentancur
Had a formidable volley saved by the goalkeeper towards the end of the first half. Lost his man for a late corner in the first half, which could have been more expensive. Had good times in the second half, but made a little mess to come back to try to stop Saltnes and ended up deviation from his shot in the net. 7
Yves Bissouma
Back in the team and he showed the strength to win the ball in the first stadiums, which led to Johnson’s first goal. Had four shots on the edge of the box in the corners but I could not find the target. This apart, it was a great performance of the International of Mali after seeing the calculation fell. 8
James Maddison
Sent an effort over six minutes after a big race in the box. Make alert after half an hour by making another excellent race on the porro ball and he sent an effort scratched in the only place where he would beat the goalkeeper and the defenders and would roll in the lower left corner of the net. A truly creative performance and deserved its goal. Put the free kick which also led to the penalty. Went injured in the second half. 9
Brennan Johnson
The top scorer of the Spurs only needed 38 seconds to open the scoring with a perfectly guided head in front of the goalkeeper. It was a constant threat in the second half with its races at the bottom right, but was frustrated by the bullets that did not fall it when possession was on the other side. 7
Dominic Solanke
Worked hard to create openings for others in the first half, including one for Udogy. Had a few chances of himself in the second half and rolled in clinically penalty. Took place with 15 minutes after obtaining treatment. 8
Ricarlison
I took a assist with a good head at Johnson. Worked hard in the first half, but made some bad decisions on the ball when it is in good position and was replaced at the break. Hopefully not injured. 7
Submarines
Mathys Tel
Another shiny cameo and had a shot blocked in the Bodo box. 6
Dejan Kulusvski
Beautiful moments, but should have scored with two efforts later in the game. 6
Wilson Odobert
Replaced Solanke for the last 15 minutes and has not really entered the match in the last moments. 5
