Tottenham celebrated all week and paid tribute to Heung-Min Son.

The South Korean striker joined their 400 club with his appearance in the 1-1 draw against London rivals West Ham.

Spurs have produced plenty of wholesome content as he joins an elite group of 14 to have donned the Lilywhite in so many matches.

And they brought many fans to the brink of tears as a host of former teammates passed along their congratulatory messages to Son.

A number of Tottenham heroes who came close to winning the Champions League in 2019 have sent their best wishes.

The first to appear in the video was, of course, Harry Kane, with whom Son scored 47 goals – a Premier League record.

He said: “I just wanted to reach out and congratulate you on making 400 appearances for Spurs. An incredible achievement, mate.

“Obviously, I’ve been lucky enough to spend a lot of these appearances with you. It’s been a privilege.

“Great guy. Great footballer. Keep it up, mate. Watching you every week. Keep smashing it. Keep scoring goals. And I hope to see you soon.”

Dele Alli then appeared in the clip in front of Hugo Lloris, from whom Son inherited the captain’s armband.

Eric Dier also appeared and proclaimed: “Heung-Min, my son”, in front of Christian Eriksen, and Jan Vertonghen, who recalled his assist on Son’s Puskas’ goal against Burnley.

But the latest ex-Tottenham star to appear in the video has left some fans stunned.

Austrian international Kevin Wimmer emerged as one of Son’s best friends early in his career with Spurs.

The pair were often spotted together ahead of the centre-back’s £18million move to Stoke City.

Now with Slovan Bratislava, he said: “Hi, Sonny. It’s Kevin, your Austrian brother.

“First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your 400 appearances for Spurs. It’s an incredible number for such a big club.

“I’m really happy for you and proud of you. And of course, I can always call you one of my best friends.

“I wish you all the best, I hope for the next 400 Tottenham games. All the best, brother. See you soon. I love you.”

And fans loved seeing the 31-year-old back on their screens, despite their initial shock.

One posted: “Brother, I miss our old team so much. They even asked Wimmer to say something.”

A second added: “It’s true that Kevin Wimmer has always had a strong bond with Son.”

“THEY EVEN HAVE KEVIN WIMMER OH MY GODDDD,” said another.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “I’m so glad they got Wimmer involved in this too.”
