The fly of the New York Balk-off sacrifice (AP) Francisco Lindor crowned a late return which had entered the triple of two rounds of Jesse Winker in eighth round, leading the New York Mets to a 3-2 victory on the Blue Jays of Toronto on Saturday evening.
Jose Siri attracted a walk in one ninth against Nick Sandlin (0-1), went to the second base on wild land and took place third on the single of Luis Torrens. Lindor welcomed Jeff Hoffman closer to a line line to the right center and Siri scored easily while the second basic player Andres Giménez cut the Myles Straw launch.
It was the seventh career point for Lindor.
Edwin Diaz (1-0) hit three in the ninth, including Giménez to shine a pair of runners.
Chris Bassitt launched 6 2/3 goalless rounds before the food equalized it to the eighth against Brendon Little, who abandoned the triple of two Winker points.
It was the second triple of the match for Winker, which participated in three in 760 big league competition in the regular season and had not reached one in a regular season game since 2021 with Cincinnati. He struck two during the playoffs – one against Milwaukee in the round of Joker and another against Los Angeles in the NLCS – last year with the food.
Blue Jays’ right field player George Springer was injured in the wall in pursuit of success and left the match accompanied by manager John Schneider and a coach. Schneider said that after the match, Springer was dealing with lower back spasms and that no MRI was necessary.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette each had an RBI for the Blue Jays. Bassitt gave four shots, did not work and withdrew nine years.
Diet starter, Griffin Canning, abandoned one point in four rounds.
Winker Triple Triple was only the third safe blow in 13 Bats with a runner on the base on Saturday.
Bassitt, who launched his assortment of land between 69 and 93 mi / h, launched 14 1/3 goals aimless in two departures at Citi Field since the food followed the 2022 season.
The three-game series ends on Sunday, when the left-hander of the David Peterson Mets (1-0, 3.00 ERA) opposes Blue Jays Right-Lander Bowden Francis (1-0, 3.00).
