LET’S GET TO THE WEATHER. There’s a lot to say Brian, you kept people informed and kept them safe. CONFIRMED TORNADO ON RIGHT. AND SOME DAMAGE. Yeah, some damage in some areas near Findlay, Findlay in Washington County. Union Township in Washington County, as well as at this time the only confirmed reports we have are primarily in WASHINGTON County. As this storm passed. WE NOW HAVE TWO ACTIVE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS, ONE FOR PARTS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY IN GREENE AND FAYETTE COUNTIES, THE OTHER FOR WESTMORELAND AND NORTHERN FAYETTE COUNTIES. BOTH LASTED UNTIL ABOUT 8:00, AND WE STILL HAD RAIN AHEAD. But it’s just rain at this point. SO AGAIN, TWO ACTIVE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS, THIS LONG IS THE ONE THAT LASTS NOW UNTIL 8:00 AM. This storm is approaching Uniontown, Uniontown is right here behind me. IT’S JUST SOUTH OF THE 4040 TRACK RIGHT HERE, CROSSING THE 166 ABOVE LAMBERT. THIS WILL PASS SOUTH OF UNIONTOWN PROPER. IT LOOKS LIKE THIS WARNING IS ALSO ISSUED NOT JUST FOR THIS WARNING. THIS IS A LONG WARNING BECAUSE THERE IS ANOTHER STORM BACK TOWARDS WEST OF BETHLEHEM THAT IS PRODUCING HAIL. THIS FOLLOWS EXACTLY THE SAME PATH. THIS IS WHY THIS STORM WARNING IS SO LONG. IT LASTS UNTIL 8:00 p.m. WE ALSO HAVE THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING AGAIN HERE, PRIMARILY FOR WESTMORELAND COUNTY AND NORTHERN FAYETTE COUNTY. IT GOES UNTIL 7:30 AM FOR THIS STORM HERE. IT’S SOUTH OF GREENSBURG, JUST ABOVE 70 AND 76 NOW. THE HIGHWAY NOW EXITS THE NEW STAUNTON INTERCHANGE, WHERE THE 70, 76 MERGED, HEADING SOUTH AND EAST. So those of you coming down to Donegal and also coming down to us again, we are south of Greensburg from Youngwood, and we extend southeast just north of Mount Plaisant. SO AGAIN, TAKE OUR WARNINGS SERIOUSLY. WE HAVE A LOT OF DAMAGE REPORTED RECENTLY IN THE AREA. THE GOOD NEWS HERE IS ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF. CESSATION OF STORMS FOR TWO HOURS. WE CAN ALL EXHALE. THEN SOME rain will linger behind these storms, but the severe threat should end in about an hour and a half. TOMORROW MORNING THERE MIGHT BE A LONG SHOWER WHEN YOU GET UP FOR MOTHER’S DAY. THE SKY WILL CLEAR THROUGHOUT THE DAY WITH THE RETURN OF THE SUN. TEMPERATURES WILL REACH THE MID 60S. MONDAY IS A BEAUTIFUL DAY. WE WILL SEE A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUD, TEMPERATURES WILL RISE TO THE UPPER 70’S MONDAY, THEN WE RETURN TO IMPACT DAY ON TUESDAY. It’s that we’re watching the rain showers come in now. A tornado has been confirmed to have touched down in the area of southern Allegheny County and northern Washington County. Reports of damage began to trickle in, including a roof blown off a church in Union Township, Washington County. The National Weather Service also reported damage in Finleyville.
