Tori Spelling Steps Out In Hot Pink Jeweled Eye Patch After Revealing Corneal Ulcer

Tori Spelling stepped out sporting a bright pink jeweled eye patch when she attended the launch party for her best friend Laura Rugetti’s new line of hair extensions on Monday night.

The 49-year-old actress and celebrity hairstylist wore matching ensembles of bright pink cropped jackets and pleated black maxi shirts with thigh-high slits for the event at the Ziggy Hotel in West Hollywood. On Thursday, Spelling shared photos from the event and explained the reason for her unusual eye accessory in the caption.

“Bring the pairing back one fashion moment at a time…when your best hairstyle @laurarugetti drops her music video in the ‘California Blondes’ extension line and x @hiddencrownhair collab you even support with an ulcer on your eyeball,” wrote wrote “Beverly Hills 90210 alum.

She added, “Laura even dazzled me with an eye patch. I’m proud of this #boss.”

The ‘Scary Movie 2’ star’s post was met with praise and support from her fans.

“I read the patch was due to an injury but my little one who has a condition called amblyopia needs a patch for that. She loved, loved, loved seeing this and said it was a real Barbie with a patch!” wrote a follower.

“I’m sorry you have a corneal ulcer. Wishing you a very speedy recovery. You both look beautiful,” another commented.

Meanwhile, Spelling shared an update with a concerned follower, writing that his eye was “healing thanks to the antibiotic drops.”

The “Stori Telling” author first revealed her eye injury in a post she shared on her Instagram Story on March 24. Spelling uploaded a selfie in which she was seen lying in bed with a beige patch on one eye under her glasses.

“Thank you for all the good wishes and concern. Everyone asks me if I scratched my cornea. It’s actually an ulcer on my eye. Antibiotic drops and the Dr said it would heal “hopefully ‘in 7-10 days,'” she wrote in the photo. .

Corneal ulcers are open sores on the outer layer of the cornea. According to WebMD, a corneal ulcer could be the result of an eye injury or a bacterial, viral, or fungal infection.

On Saturday, Spelling shared another selfie on her Instagram Story and wrote, “Still got the eye patch…can someone tell me online or in store where I can get my teenage goodies and myself some pretty bathing suits for spring break!”
