Tony Awards collapse to all-time low of 2.6 million viewers

Boy, I’m going to tell you something, Bloom really stepped out of the miserable American celebrity class when the Tony Awards were only able to attract 2.6 million viewers.

It’s not just an all-time low; it’s an outright disaster, a collapse of 51% from last year when 5.4 million people watched.

Oh, and that 5.4 million was itself a record. So the Tonys simply hit a lower record and hit another record by halving the previous record.

This year’s Tony Awards lost to season 9,578 of Big Brother, which attracted 4.15 million viewers. Hell, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune attracted 3.76 million viewers. Supermarket scan did almost as well as the Tonys at 2.51 million.

In a country of 330 million people, and on a Sunday night, the Tonys were only able to attract 2.6 million people.

Haha.

Take a look below:

But, to be fair, the Tonys did everything in their fascist power to keep people away.

In 2018, Robert De Niro used the Tonys to say “Fuck Trump”. Andrew Garfield sued the Supreme Court for siding with a Christian who didn’t want to be forced to ball a gay wedding cake. Nobody wants to watch this. Not even the leftists.

The Emmys, the Oscars, the Grammys, the MYV Music Awards… All of these awards are reaching numbers so low that just five years ago, no one would have imagined they could go so low.

But that’s what happens when you celebrate everything – skin color, sex, sexuality – but excellence. This is what happens when you give a conference instead of entertaining. This is what happens when you don’t have real stars. This is what happens when you are smug, hateful, talentless, and dishonest.

Hey, we just hate you back.

You assholes started it.
