Tom Segura offers the first confusing overview in his mind through his next series.
In the teaser for its new series of Netflix comedy in six parts Bad thoughtsThat he made his debut on Saturday at his show with closed counters Madison Square Garden, the actor presents his dark and twisted reflections through a alternative cinematic universe folding the genre.
At first on May 13 on the streamer, Bad thoughts is described as Black mirror encounter Chappelle’s show. The first teaser promises an extraterrestrial invasion, black ops elite shooters, radicalized elementary schoolchildren, a bloody confrontation of cooking, a hideous deformation and a desire for penis, all presented with a quality cinematographic escape.
Last April, Deadline reported that Segura had self -funded, produced and sold the pilot then constantly in Netflix, noting that he also serves as a narrator in the series, who will see him take the spectator through a series of vignettes in each episode. The twisted comic sensitivity of its stand-up is the central DNA of this series, where each story will take place in a disturbing hilarious way that it could imagine.
Segura’s first scripted series for Netflix comes after filmed five standup specials for the streaming platform, including Completely normal (2014), Mainly stories (2016), Ashamed (2018), Ball pavilion (2020) and Hammer (2023).
