But none of Spider-Man’s superpowers appear to have rubbed off on Hollywood actor Tom Holland this weekend when he was apparently hit in the head with a ball during a round of golf in Scotland.
A number of witnesses claim the star was unaware the stray bullet was hurtling towards him before hitting his forehead.
The Spider-Man star, who plays to a handicap of six and is a regular at amateur events, was playing near St Andrews in Fife at the inaugural Tom Holland Charity Golf Day.
The 27-year-old, who plays Peter Parker in the Marvel films, appeared at the opening gala of a film festival at the Byre Theater in St Andrews that evening and sported a round, red scratch on his head.

The quartet were seen together last September as they headed to the famous Pro-Am golf tournament at Wentworth Golf Club in Virginia Water, Surrey.
Following in their big brother’s footsteps, Harry and Paddy are also pursuing acting careers, particularly Harry who is often seen alongside Tom on various film sets.
He has made appearances in several of Tom’s recent films, including The Impossible, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Cherry. He also directed the 2020 short film Roses for Lily.
Previously speaking about his brother Harry on The Graham Norton Show in December 2021, Tom shared a hilarious anecdote about the time his brother was cast in a scene from the film Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Harry was cast in a scene in the film Spider-Man: No Way Home, but Tom later revealed that the scene was cut from the final cut.
While the brothers beamed in a few shots, they were also joined by Tom’s Marvel director Joe Russo.
“We cast Harry, and he’s on set and I go to the stunt coordinator, and I say, ‘Please, whatever you do with the stunt, make sure he’s on set. ‘towards. “
