Tom Hanks and Robin Wright are aged in Zemeckis’ film

Tom Hanks and Robin Wright have crucial moments at a very important place in the trailer for Here.

Sony’s TriStar Pictures is set to release director Robert Zemeckis’ feature-length drama theatrically on November 15. Here tells the story of several families across generations, with the entire film taking place in a single location, which becomes the home where Hanks and Wright’s characters reside. The trailer shows a first exchange between the characters, as well as a glimpse of their future ups and downs.

“Time flies, doesn’t it?” Hanks tells Wright this in the trailer, leading him to respond, “It sure is.”

Later in the sequence, Hanks invites Wright to stay at his place: “You know, if you want, you can spend the rest of the night here.” She replies: “I could spend the rest of my life here. »

Zemeckis barred Here from a screenplay he wrote with Eric Roth and based on the graphic novel of the same name by Richard McGuire. The film’s producers are Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, Derek Hogue and Bill Block.

The Hollywood Reporter reported last year that Hanks and Wright were de-aged in the film thanks to the AI-based generative tool called Metaphysic Live. “With Herethe film simply wouldn’t work without our actors gradually transforming into younger versions of themselves,” Zemeckis explained at the time.

Here marks the reunion of Zemeckis, Roth, Hanks and Wright, all of whom previously collaborated on the Oscar-winning 1994 film Forrest Gumpcelebrating its 30th anniversary next month.
