Cannes, France (AP) – Three years after Fly in the Cannes Film Festival With “Top Gun: Maverick”, Tom Cruise returned to La Croisette Wednesday with “Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning”.
The latest episode “Mission: Impossible” by Christopher McQuarrie is the biggest Hollywood trait wading on the ground in Cannes this year.
Before the first Wednesday evening, Cruise, Mcquarrie and the casting posed for photographers while a large part of the activity at the palace was stopped by spectators hoping to have a glimpse of Cruise.
Mcquarrie will sit for an interview on stage, but there was no press conference for the film, which meant that Cruise and Company was not confronted with any questions of journalists.
In 2022, Cruise received an honorary palm of gold from the festival and the first “Top Gun: Maverick” included an impressive timed jet overflight. That the 62 -year -old cruise has something in her round this time was eagerly awaited in Cannes. Cruise climbed to the top of the British Institute film in London on Sunday.
“The Final Reckoning”, which was launched in Tokyo last week, opens North American theaters on May 23.
