Tom Brady wants football to be about “us,” not “me.”
Brady appeared on the “DeepCut with VicBlends” podcast earlier this month, and the highlight clips continue to come out.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback provided an illustration of the generation gap compared to the players who invented smartphones and social media.
“I think the biggest problem with a lot of f***ing kids these days is because of them,” Brady said. “Their brand, their social networks. When it comes to “me” and not “we”, well, there’s no way you can succeed as a team if all you do is think about how selfish it is of your part of attracting attention.

Brady agreed.
“That’s the purpose of life,” he added. “What we could do: How do you help others finish the race? »
Elsewhere in the podcast, Brady, 46, discussed the idea of a return after a year away from football.
Brady, who is expected to begin his broadcasting career alongside Kevin Burkhardt on Fox Sports NFL’s top announcing team, was asked to “pick up the phone” if a starting quarterback were to go down late in the season.
“I’m not opposed to that,” Brady said with a smile, pointing out that it might not be allowed by the league if he had been approved for a minority stake in the Raiders.
“But I don’t know… I’ll still be in shape, still be able to throw the ball. So to get in a little bit, like (Michael Jordan), I don’t know if they would let me, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it.
