Tohai Mahjong Anime Reveals Main Cast, October Premiere – News

This year’s 12th issue of Akita shotIt is Young champion The magazine announced the three main cast members and the October premiere date of the TV anime of Koji ShinasakaIt is Tōhai – Ura Mahjong Tōhairoku Route manga Tuesday. The actors are :

June Hatori directs the anime on EASTERN FISH STUDIO. Mariko Kunisawa supervises the scripts of the series, Sayaka Anesaki designs the characters, and Yusuke Shirato And Yuki Kishida compose the music.

Shinasaka serialized the manga in Akita shotIt is Young champion magazine from 2006 to 2011 and the series has 12 volumes. Other works in the franchise include all 16 volumes Tōhai: Hitobashira-hen manga, 10 volumes Tōhai: Minagoroshi-hen manga, all four volumes Lion Haō Densetsu manga, all five volumes Hao Kessen Lion manga and Tōhai: Cold Girl manga. Tōhai: Cold Girl is in progress and currently has five volumes. The sixth volume shipped January 18.

The manga inspired a live-action film in 2013.
