Arizona cardinals are one more step from the regular season after their ugly pre-season defeat against Denver Broncos on Saturday.
For a handful of cardinals who seek to improve or solidify their position on the list, the loss of 27-7 marked another chance of doing this exactly.
This includes the choice of seventh row in 2025 Kitan Crawford, Kitan Crawford, who obtained the start of the starting head on Saturday.
After showing his ball skills with an interception in last week’s victory over Kansas City chiefs, Crawford lived another solid performance.
Paying the team for most of the night with six plated, Crawford brought the intensity of the jump.
The greatest positive outing of Crawford of the draft was focused on his capacities as a special team.
Prove that he can do so defensively makes his business even more solid, especially given his competitors.
With alignment points of 53 limited men on the backend, the team’s last safety place is probably going to Crawford or Joey Blount.
Blount has been an ace of special teams proven for cardinals in recent seasons, but seems to lose its grip on a place with each positive crawford.
Head coach Jonathan Gannon weighs more matches than joint and regular training. Doing it on the main scene generally means more opportunities.
“The biggest form of learning is the representatives of the game,” the journalists’ head coach told the loss of Denver. “It’s something to be technically healthy in practice. It is something else to be technically healthy in games.”

Crawford was not the only cardinal to fight for a place that improved his stock on Saturday either.
After exceeding a quad injury during the training camp, the large Simi Fehoko receiver had a solid performance in Denver.
Underlined by its touch of 16 yards in the first quarter, Fehoko won a pair of catches for 21 yards.

In addition to his game as a receiver, Fehoko has proven his capacity on special teams. He also brought notable energy from the start.
With the decrease of the pre-season slate, he looks like a battle of two men for the last place in the large receptor room between Fehoko and the second year pro Tejhaun Palmer.
Palmer, on the other hand, was not favored behind an early drop.
The Arizona pre-season final will probably determine who cuts.
More bands for Will Johnson, Denzel Burke to learn
The recruit of the cardinals, Will Johnson, marked one of the only projected starters who played on Saturday against the Broncos. The interior assistant Akeem Davis-Gone was the other.
Johnson had a solid driven from the winger tight Evan Engram, but was again fired with a penalty – this time a call for detention.
This marks two in two short games after being reported for interference from defensive passes last week.
“It is a kind of instant judgment, but we dirty too much,” said Gannon. “It happens in practice, then what you do in practice will appear in games. We must make sure that we play with better fundamentals when we cover people. I think all our corners need better technique and keep your hands.”
After printing throughout the training camp, Johnson experienced growing pain this pre-season.
Better to keep them away now before the balls become live.
“It’s good to foam and play,” said Gannon about Johnson.
The recruit Denzel Burke, on the other hand, had a decent demonstration in Denver.
As he looked at Troy Franklin Reel in a touchdown on him, Burke had some pass ruptures and looked faster on the field than before. A good sign that things could slow down for the choice of fifth round in 2025.
He tends to land one of the last spots on the list of the CBS room. Saturday’s show helps this story.
Speaking of final points in the room, Elijah Jones added a late highlight in the form of a forced escape in the red zone.

The third round in 2024 and Darren Hall are in a tight battle for what could be the last place in the room.
Battle QB2? What battle QB2?
Before even arriving at the pre-season, the role of Jacoby Brissett as QB2 seemed really safe.
Two exhibitions below, and there is no change in this feeling.
By finishing six of his eight passes for 57 yards and the hit of Touché in Fehoko, Brissett seemed the offensive coordinator of running, the Petzing plan.
“I thought he was working well,” said Gannon about Brissett. “We have to do a better job to catch the ball. It’s a fundamental, I think. I liked the reader he led for the touch. It was good.”
As for Clayton Tune, the third year pro is very in danger of being a reduction in the alignment of 53 men. There is simply too much depth to other positions to justify transporting three callers.
He probably heads for the Arizona training team unless something radical does not happen.
Hayden Conner obtains the start of the starting head in the center
Hayden Conner has traveled a long way in less than a month.
Seeing three sloppy shots during a practice of the July 28 training camp, Conner rebounded significantly.
Not only did he see match representatives at the end of last week’s victory over Kansas City, but the recruit obtained the starting head against Denver.
This is excellent news in terms of Conner’s position on the list.
Which is not the knee injury that made some games in the evening.
Railed quickly with the problem, Conner gave way to Sale Haynesworth.
Jon Gaines II, which was the Arizona rescue center in the past but still returns from an injury to the thumb, has started at the right -wing guard.
“He can’t break for the moment,” said Gannon after the match when he was asked for sheaths that don’t slip into the center.
