Nashville – The Titans have signed the quarter-Arrière Cam Ward to his recruit contract.
Ward, selected with the first overall choice of the NFL draft, becomes the seventh player of the team of nine players of the team to sign with the team.
“It’s a blessing,” Ward said after signing the agreement. “I’m ready to go to work.”
Previously, the team has concluded agreements with security Kevin Winston Jr. (3rd round), the winger tight Gunnar Helm (fourth round), the Elic Ayomanor receiver (4th round), goalkeeper Jackson Slater (5th round), the Cornerback Marcus Harris (6th round) and the Ballon Kalel Mollings (6th Tour).
The outside secondary Oluwafemi Oldojo (second round), and the Chimere Dike receiver (fourth round) are the only two choice of recovery which remain unique.
Ward participated in the off-season program after participating in the Minicamp recruit of the team earlier this month.
Ward played in 57 games in total in five university seasons at Incarnate Word (2020-21), Washington State (2022-23) and Miami (2024).
In Miami, Ward was appointed first team Associated Press All-American and was a finalist Heisman after launching 4,313 yards and 39 touched, leading the hurricanes in their first season of 10 gains since 2017. The West Columbia, Texas ,, Native, has succeeded at 18.184 yards in total during his university career, and his 158 passes. Division I (FBS / FBS).
The Titans should start the OTAs next week at ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park.
