Cyrus women don’t play games.
During the Jan. 16 episode of Tish and Brandi Cyrus’ “Sorry, We’re Cyrus” podcast, the two apparently took a dig at Miley Cyrus’ ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.
“Men are trash. The majority of them are complete trash,” said Brandi, who is Miley’s older sister. “But there are a few good ones, I suppose. I think I found one, so I like it for myself.
Brandi, 37, was talking about her new boyfriend, Matt, who is Australian, just like Hemsworth.
“You know what, he’s Australian. I’m not going to pick on American men, but Australian men are just different,” Tish, 57, said.
“Well, not all of them,” Brandi chimed in, prompting the mother-daughter duo to look at each other and laugh before moving on to the next topic.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer, 32, and Hemsworth, 35, had a long, on-and-off relationship before tying the knot in December 2018.
The couple, who met while filming the film “The Last Song” in 2009, got engaged in 2012 but called off the affair a year later. They rekindled their romance in 2015.
However, their union was short-lived as they separated after less than a year of marriage.
It seems the whole Cyrus family has a soft spot for the Australian side.
Tish, who was previously married to country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, married Australian actor Dominic Purcell, 54, in 2023.
For his part, “Achy Breaky Heart” crooner Billy Ray, 63, had a brief marriage to Australian singer Firerose that lasted only seven months.
They decided to stop in August 2024.
