Tina Turner mourns the loss of her son Ronnie after his death at 62

Tina Turner is living a parent’s worst nightmare.
On December 9, she and ike turnerthe son Ronnie Turner died at age 62.
“Ronnie, you left the world way too soon,” the singer wrote alongside a black and white photo of herself with her eyes closed on Instagram. “In grief, I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son.
Friends and followers were quick to offer their condolences to holly peete writing “So Deeply Sorry” and singer Margo Price commenting, “Sending love to you and your whole family.”
And while Ronnie’s parents were famous musicians, he chose acting, appearing in the 1993 film What’s love got to do with itwhich was based on the tumultuous and often violent relationship his mother had with his father.
Shortly after the devastating news, Ronnie’s wife Afida Turner paid tribute to her husband.
“I did my best until the end this time I was not[t] able to save you,” she wrote alongside a series of photos of Ronnie and his family. “I have loved you for… 17 years this is very very very bad and I am very angry.”
