“I’ll be really nervous about Simon because, like, if someone makes a little mistake…” she said in a backstage interview when her little sister interrupted, encouraging her to go for the “GB” (Golden Buzzer, for those of us who don’t know). Her mom and dad were also there, cheering on their feel for the song.

Who inspired Pranysqa Mishra’s singing career?

Pranysqa’s passion for singing goes back as far as she can remember, and she’s accomplished a lot in just a few years, singing national anthems for major sports teams in the NBA, NHL, MLB and more.

“I have always loved singing. It makes me happy. Even when I was four years old, I would pretend to have a microphone and sing as if I was singing for the whole world,” she enthuses.

Pranysqa credits her grandmother as her main inspiration and the driving force behind her budding career. She was also the one Pranysqa named after her immediately. ACT performance.

“My grandmother always tells me to sing at the top of my lungs and one day I’ll have a big stage,” she said before the audition, adding: “My dream is coming true. I can’t believe it.”
