Minnesota Timberwolves coach Chris Finch missed his playoff victory over the Phoenix Suns after a violent collision with his own player late in the fourth quarter.

With just a few minutes left in Phoenix, Finch was sent to the ground when Timberwolves star Mike Conley escaped a challenge from the Suns’ Devin Booker and headed toward the sideline before colliding with his coach.

The 54-year-old fell instantly and looked visibly in pain as Conley tried to help him back up, only for both groups of players to form a circle around him as he remained on the ground with some discomfort.

After a few minutes, Finch finally got back to his feet and limped out of the arena with an injury that remains unclear.
