Tszyu (24-2, 17 KB) had a nightmarish campaign in 2024, suffering from the first two defeats of his professional career. Tszyu, the son of the legendary Kosta Tszyu, lost his WBO Super Welterweight championship against Sebastian Fundora in March 2024 by shared decision after suffering a bad cut in the first laps.
Tszyu then challenged Bakhram Murtazaliev for the IBF championship in October, but failed the Russian, which produced a demolition post, marking four eliminations for a third -round TKO in Orlando.
Spencer (19-1, 11 KB) underwent his only defeat on the factory of David Benavidez against Caleb Undercard in March 2023, after being arrested in turn 7 by the best hope Jesus Ramos Jr. Since then, Spencer has carried out three low profile victories in the last 18 months, and now plans to inflict a third consecutive defeat on Tszyu.
