Tim Cook uses the Vision Pro every day, saying it’s hard to explain the 3D experience while highlighting some features as emotional

Apple recently launched the Vision Pro outside the US, and the headset is making its rounds in the market, with demand expected to increase in the next quarter. To promote the headset’s arrival in other markets, Apple CEO Tim Cook said he uses the Vision Pro headset every day, suggesting it’s part of “every aspect of[his]daily life.”

Tim Cook is never shy about promoting products launched under his watch as Apple CEO and the Vision Pro is the latest addition to the company’s lineup. Since its launch, the headset has managed to create a massive buzz around cloud computing, and we can safely assume that it is one of the main contenders in the industry, competing with products like the Meta Quest lineup.

The Vision Pro is designed to address all aspects of daily life, including gaming, productivity, and entertainment. To be specific, Tim Cook said he used the Vision Pro to watch Ted Lasso season 3 and other Apple TV+ content on the headset.

And so the ability for me to be able to get into any position I want, including lying down and putting the screen on the ceiling, is an incredible experience. And of course, it’s a 100-foot screen. I mean, it’s incredible the level of entertainment that it offers.

The CEO also claims that the headset is great for multitasking, as it allows windows to be placed anywhere on the screen or in the wearer’s physical space. He adds that it’s difficult to explain the Vision Pro experience and that potential customers should try to get a demo to see the full capabilities of the device. The CEO claims that it’s very difficult to show the 3D experience in a 2D world, which makes sense.

The headset is also very easy to use, according to the CEO, who says that if you can use an iPhone, then you can use the headset, because gestures work “the same way your mind does.” He also highlighted some of the Vision Pro’s features as being emotional, particularly the spatial photos and videos. The headset is an engineering marvel, as the company has filed over 5,000 patents to make it a reality.

“I am very proud of the team’s work and perseverance, because it took several years of work.”
