Tim Cook teases a new Apple launch to come this week.
The CEO has kept his Monday X Post brief with a simple legend saying “this week” and a five -second clip. The message sparked discussions that it is a new iPhone, iPad or something else.
“There is something in the air,” said the video message.
A large clue can be in the five -words cook that Cook has chosen to publish. It is a reminder to an ad for the first MacBook Air, which was announced in 2008. Steve Jobs, Apple co -founder, removed the laptop from an envelope to demonstrate its slimming.
Jobs launched the announcement with the sentence: “There is something in the air.”
Mark Gurman de Bloomberg predicts that it is the M4 MacBook Air that will be announced this week. It would bring a new chip to 13 -inch and 15 inch air models while the inventory of the current model ends, Gurman reported.
Monday, Apple lists the M3 and M2 MacBook Air models for $ 1099 and $ 999, respectively. The M4 MacBook Pro, announced in October, begins at $ 1599.
If there is a product launch this week, it will follow the February 16th announcement – a more affordable model compatible with Apple Intelligence.
