Thousands of people sell phones equipped with tiktok on ebay and facebook

A seller, Nicholas Matthews, who lives in New York, said that he had decided to sell the phone when he had found that Tiktok was in great demand. He offered an iPhone 14 Plus on Tiktok for $ 10,000. Matthews said that her highest offer was $ 4,550 on Friday.

“I’m just waiting to sell this phone alone,” he said.

Tiktok has around 170 million users in the United States. The prohibition does not aim for individual users, who are technically free to use it as long as they can.

Ebay did not immediately respond to a comment message on announcements on Friday.

Earlier this week, President Donald Trump ordered his Ministry of Justice to suspend the application from the ban until early April. But many questions remain, in particular that of whether Trump has the power to issue such an order and the parent company of Tiktok, based in China, would be ready to sell the popular social media platform.
