Eddie Hearn was impressed by lightweight prospect Giorgio Visioli after his latest knockout victory.
Visioli was competing on the undercard of Josh Taylor’s huge rematch with Jack Catterall at the First Direct Arena in Leeds as part of a Matchroom Boxing bill.

The Anglo-Italian talent had beaten his first two opponents with notable saves since his first professional stint in November 2023.
And he proved his worth once again in his third professional outing, blitzing and beating Sergio Odabai with a fierce save in the televised opening match.
Matchroom Boxing king Hearn has previously praised the rising lightweight star, who trains at Repton Boxing Club.
And the Brentwood promoter said after his victory: “Very good performance, blazing hand speed.
“It was a big step forward against an opponent who was supposed to give us rounds and also had a big winning record.
“He didn’t want to get stopped, but the body shot was perfect – he hurt him in the body the round before.
“Every performance he steps up, he looks fantastic. Great speed, punching power as well.
“Huge hope, world championship potential even at this young age. Still a long way to go, but the kid has it all.”

Visioli was also delighted with his performance and promised fans that there was much more to come as he continued his boxing quest.
He added: “I’m still over the moon. Third fight, third knockout.
“I don’t look for it, you see, I let it flow and it comes. It’s just patience, you see. I let it flow and it lands.”
It’s an exciting start to his career for Visioli, who is only 21 and has already impressed British audiences.
135 pounds is an exciting division to get involved in in the sport, with big names competing at this weight including Gervonta Davis, Shakur Stevenson and Vasyl Lomachenko.
It will of course be several years before he is ready to compete at the world level, but he hopes to have the tools necessary to compete at the top of the sport.
He will likely aim for national titles first in the coming years, with Sam Noakes currently holding the belt at British level.
