Thibaut Courtois’ fiancée Mishel Gerzig backs Belgium at World Cup

Thibaut Courtois’ biggest fan, fiancée Mishel Gerzig, is savoring every moment of his first-ever World Cup.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, a day after Belgium beat Canada in their Group F match, 1-0, the Israeli model shared a handful of snaps from the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, where she cheered on the goalkeeper 30 years.
“Can you tell how excited I am to support my love at my first ever World Cup?” Gerzig captioned the post, which showed her smiling and proudly holding a Belgian scarf.
Courtois, also a Real Madrid goalkeeper, replied to her message: “My queen! Amazing to always have you behind me.
Gerzig and Courtois shared a special moment during Wednesday’s win, as they were pictured embracing near the stands.
Although Courtois had an impressive outing against Canada, saving an early penalty against Alphonso Davies, Belgium lost Sunday’s game against Morocco, 2-0. Morocco now top the Group F standings with four points while Belgium are second with three.

The top two countries from each group will qualify for the Round of 16, which begins next weekend.
With an unmissable game against Croatia on deck on Thursday, Courtois can probably expect Gerzig’s full support every step of the way.

First linked in early 2021, the pair hit a major milestone in their relationship over the summer when Courtois popped the question in June aboard a yacht.
“Yes to a lifetime with you,” Gerzig said on Instagram at the time.
